Our Process

Accounting and Tax practices are a serious matter, and the choice to hire internal or external professionals should be made thoughtfully. To facilitate this, LoRetha’s Bookkeeping & Tax, LLC has established a straightforward process for initiating services.

This approach not only simplifies the onboarding experience but also allows you to familiarize yourself with our methods and while it also helps you fully understand your needs.

LB&T has also engaged Independent Sales Professionals to prevent wasting time and money and to help potential clients make informed decisions.

 

THE INTAKE FORM

Prospective clients must complete the intake form.

You have the option to download and upload the completed and signed document to the file portal or to fill out the online version. 

Prospective clients will also need to register for the FILE EXCHANGE PORTAL.

You can delete the account if you choose not to move forward with LB&T. This procedure allows us to assess the extent of work required to update your financial records, if needed, or to maintain them, which will inform our pricing.

ORGANIZE DATA

LoRetha’s Bookkeeping & Tax, LLC will provide you with a Confidential Disclosure Agreement (CDA) after assessing your needs based on the completed intake form from the initial step.

Subsequently, we will need you to upload an official copy of your accounting files to the File Exchange Portal, which you registered for in step one

THE MEETING

Upon receipt of the signed Confidentiality Disclosure Agreement (a copy to be uploaded to the file exchange portal) and after examining your current accounting records, LoRetha’s Bookkeeping & Tax, LLC will arrange a meeting to address the following:

Firstly, we will discuss any findings from the existing accounting records.

Secondly, we will review the client’s Scope of Work. We understand that you may require time to assess the Scope of Work and propose any modifications.

This collaborative process is essential for aligning our understanding of the tasks to be performed and your expectations from our team.

THE CALL

Upon reviewing and signing the SCOPE OF WORK, and uploading a signed copy to the file exchange portal, a member of the LB&T team will contact the decision maker to clarify your expectations and discuss roles and communication preferences.

This step may not be necessary if the designated decision maker has been identified in the initial steps.

Understanding our respective roles and communication channels is essential to ensure that your requirements are addressed promptly.
